Match V Naunton Down

After a couple of good results we had a reversal at Naunton Downs losing 4 and 2.

Whilst the fairways were a bit better than ours, their greens were no where near as good and were very slow in comparison and there were differing speeds on different greens.

That’s my excuse and I am sticking to it

Our star performer was Cliff Smith who went round in 5 under handicap, it was fortunate he was playing with me!!
