KO Singles latest situation
Tuesday, 16 July 2019
So a lovely day and a very tight game.
Doug Keen and Richard Gent were level on points, level on countback over last 9 holes, level on countback over last 6 holes but Richard sneaked the win by getting 3 points on the 18th and winning the next stage.
reminded me a bit of the England New Zealand cricket match, high tension dramatic finale but only one winner. But wait are they both in the same division or could there be 2 winners.
See below for answer
Summer Stableford Round 4 on Thursday and operating as a roll up.
Sunday, 14 July 2019
Good news
All has been revealed about sorting out Tuesdays game; its a Stableford Roll Up and I'm going to be putting the start sheet in the changing rooms in the next half hour.
Next Thursday is round 4 of the Summer Stableford and that will also be run as a roll up so no need to panic if you want to play. Just be there!
Lots of Stableford games at the moment if you want to do something different then let Rod or myself know

Sorry I missed everyone today I was shopping, I am really struggling trying to get fit and taking me shopping is my wife's way of motivating me..
So results in two divisions just because I cant remember how we decided where the break between 1 or 2 divisions comes and so I thought we would have a chenge. If this is wrong I'm surer James will sort it out

Therer is a match next Tuesday and I'm not sure who is doing what to set up the game at Witney but I'm sure all will be revealed in good time.

So a home match, several away on the Links Championships Tour, a number of long term laid off (me) and we still had 16 out on the course so well done to all. Brian tells me he had his best round for ages but still not quite enough to win, well played Alec
We have heard a lot about fast play but we must never forget the importance of playing carefully and not rushing our shots.
In fact if you want to know about how a rushed shot can affect your game and cost you 3 places on the leader board I suggest you ask Doug Keen how many putts it took him to hole out from 3 inches on the 14th today.
Thanks for the reminder Doug
Another Roll Up Stableford Thursday and the sheet is already posted up in the changing rooms
