Following the postponement of the Hot Toddy Trophy competition today, can those players included in the start list (on the Tee Times Tab & below) who cannot play on re arranged date of Thursday 29th March, please let me know.

Conversely, those who could not play today but can play on the 29th let me know and I will add you to the start list

Hi all,

Only the Back 9 holes on the course will be open today.

I therefore have to postpone the Hot Toddy Trophy Match until Thursday 29^th March. Unfortunately we cannot play it on Thursday because there is a U-Boat semi-final and I don’t want to exclude the participants in that, from playing a Trophy Competition.

Therefore Today there will be no Seniors game, members can roll up and play the back 9 as they wish

As many of you will have seen the course is closed today and as I look outside it is still raining, so there ias a likely hood of the course still being closed tomorrow

Difficult conditions for the Lan-Com Trophy today.
It came down to a countback situation with Chris Hatherly just pipping Alec Tyrell to first place, with Mike Twyman just a further 2 shots back
As most of you are aware the prizes for this competition are generously provided by John Courtney for first second and Third, there is no division 2 prizes. A big Thank You again to John

March Monthly Medal

Brian Rollerson continued his rich vein of form winning the March Monthly Medal, after scooping the Eric Clack Trophy two weeks ago.
Its a good job for the protagonists in the Winter Stableford Round 6 that Brian will be away on holiday for the final round.
The nearest the pin was won by John Alexander. Two near misses by Mike Smith on the nearest the pin in the last 2 competitions.

A couple of people who signed up to the competition, did not let me know they were turning up today. This results in gaps in the tee off times and confusion in the ranks. Please give consideration to your fellow players by letting me know if you can't play. Likewise if you are going to come to a sign up competition also let me know because I may be able to fit you in where someone has dropped out.
