Home Match versus Bicester

Another great team performance in our match against Bicester.
We had a 6-0 victory, our second whitewash in a row.
We have now won 40 of the games in this matches and lost just 11. A fantastic effort from all who have been involved
What makes this particularly pleasing is that we had two people playing their first match of the year.
First a huge thanks to Barry Lund who answered the call to step in as a last minute replacement, when there was a deafening silence from all sides to my request. Well done Barry!
And to cap that of Barry and Julian Marks had the best result of the day a 7&6 victory
The second new player was Phil Smart who has recently joined us from Carswell, Phil had the dubious honour of playing with me.

Thursday 21st June Stableford

A small but perfectly formed field took to the course this Thursday.
Everyone’s best mate Ron Deacon came out on top the only one under handicap, beating Bill Ford and Geoff Mills
I notice that our reigning Seniors Champion Peter Burdon’s handicap has snuck up to 16, just in time for this years event!!
