The performance of the day was by Cliff Smith, playing with John Alexander he parred the last 5 holes to take them from 3 down to winning 1 Up, fantastic!!

Texas Scramble

I found the conditions on Thursday very difficult especially the humidity.

Some people found it easy, in particular the winning team of Chris Hatherly, Bill Ford and Brian Floyd with a score of 57.8

2^nd were Mike Smith, Cliff Smith and Alan Jones with a score of 59 and in third place were Mike Twyman, Alan Lake and Bill Howard just behind with 59.5

W/C 30^th July

A bit of rain is forecast between 7 to 8 am but is then fine

On Thursday it will be sunny with a gentle breeze and a high of 25 degrees Celsius

This coming week there is a match against Bicester on Tuesday, and a roll up at home

I will be doing the draw tomorrow. If you have not signed up please e-mail me before 2pm tomorrow to be included

Can those players who have not yet handed over their raffle prizes please give them to me at the Lakes on Thursday.

It’s a good cause supporting Bowel Cancer and it affects a huge number of over 55 men in particular, so please give generously
