After the results are in for Erics Game I now know why Gerry Collier wants to play it. He always wins.

A lovely day on the course last day of summer perhaps and a Lancaster Bomber flying low overhead when we were on the 6th Tee, we were all like kids and actually waved to the plane but they ignored us.

So after a considerable amount of controversy and three visits to the computer to check handicaps the final verdict as ratified by the committee members still in the sports bar

First Gerry Collier and second Barry Lund both on 15. I played with Barry and he had a fantastic front half (29 nett) but lost it on count back.

Its the Wilf Shirley on Tuesday and start times are on the  Tee Time sheet and I think we are struggling for a team to play Shrivenham at Witney next Thursday so get your name down as soon as you can
