Presentation Dinner - Friday 30th. October

PRESENTATION DINNER and CAPTAIN'S HANDOVER - FRI. 30TH. OCT. 7 pm. for 7.30 pm.

Please add your names and menu choices to the list on the Seniors Board by Fri. 23rd. October
Please pay the money for your meal/s to Brian a.s.a.p. - NOT ON THE NIGHT!
The dress code will be 'smart casual' i.e.ties for gentlemen welcome but not mandatory
Seating for the meal will be at tables of 8. If you particularly wish to sit in a pre-arranged group, there will be a sheet on the notice board on Tuesday on which to 'sign up' for this.

Witney Community Hospital League of Friends

Witney Community Hospital provides an invaluable local service to the people of Witney, with two wards providing in-patient care, a Minor Injuries Unit, Xray department, outpatient consultations and many other services. Most people living in and around Witney will use the services of the hospital for themselves or their families at some point.

This year as every year Witney Lakes Seniors captain has chosen a charity for us to support by taking part in our Summer Charity Open by taking donations from players who fall foul of the charity hole, and by other events held throughout the year

About Us

The Seniors' Section of Witney Lakes Golf Club seeks to provide interesting and varied golf to its members.

Section members meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, in the Sports Bar from about 07:45, throughout the year, bank holidays excepted, to play in various competitions and matches and there is also the occasional social occasion to enjoy as well. All male golf club members aged 55 and over are welcome.

Our competitions fall into two categories; roll-up and qualifying competitions. Entry into a qualifying competition normally requires adding one's name to a sign-up sheet posted on the Section notice board, adjacent to the locker room, whereas for a roll-up competition, simply turn up on the day.

During the spring and summer months, the Section takes part in a number of friendly matches against other clubs in the area.
