Results from the Seniors Charity Open played today ...

I would like to thank all 68 competitors who took part today for supporting the charity Prostate Cancer UK.

I estimate that the charity open raised approximately £1000. There are still the charity tins to open so by the end of the season we should have raised at least £1250 for Prostate Cancer UK. Once again a big thank you to all for the fundraising.

Also a big thank you to the members of the Seniors' Committee, their wives and other senior golfers who helped to organise the event.

I trust you all found the course to be in good condition, and a big thank you goes out to all the ground staff.

Finally a big thank you to the catering and support staff for helping to make the event run smoothly.
